Moving!

It's official we are moving. Tuffer got a letter yesterday. He got into the best school he interviewed at. I know that we got in because the day that we got the letter in the mail that he had an interview their, it was -40, and I said that I would never live their. That sealed the fate. I should know by now that if I ever say I am not doing something, that is exactly what I am going to do. So we are moving to the Twin Cities. I think it is funny because I constantly complained about how all the vet school were in small towns and I would not be able to survive and now I am going to the biggest city that has a vet school. I am happy that they have so many good places to eat. It is very animal friendly. No sales tax on food and cloths (love that one, but I will not be doing much shopping). They even have DMD out of the fountain; if you really know me, you know what that means. Oh and best of all the mall of america. Overall it’s stressful and fun. We have to move in two months, tuffer has to finish a million classes, I have to finish classes to graduate, and we have to pack, sell a house and buy a house. Life is crazy but its a new and awesome adventure!
Oh and a little story about where I will be moving; a man went sleepwalking and died because it was so cold. I will keep all the doors locked, so that does not happen to me.

Best investment ever!

Today we got a new vacuum, which was long awaited. We already had one, but it didn’t cut it with three indoor dogs. We took our end of the year money back from Costco and used that money and put it towards a new vacuum. I never though I would spend so much money on a vacuum in my life and be so happy about at the same time. It works wonders.

Twin Cities

This is Hercules a horse I got to pet while we where in St. Paul. I fell in love with him; he was such a show off that loved attention. It made me really want a horse. Oh and he knows how to paint. They sell his paintings for $50, and all the money goes to charity. We looked up restaurants to eat at on the food network. Man did they know what they were talking about this place was soooooo good. Talk about AMAZING Italian food.

This restaurant was also in the food network. Victors serves Cuban food. The food was very different but reminded Tuffer of his mission.

The last place is called the Nook also featured at the food network. Our burger was filled with cheese, Yummmm!!! All of our trips were based on eating if you cant tell.

In our amazing hotel, We were a little bored. Tuff was very excited, not so much!

Alabama

Tuskegee University. It was so pretty here. All the building on campus are old, brick and beautiful. I loved it.
While we were driving to our hotel there was a waffle house on every exit and sometimes more than one. When there are more waffle houses than Mc Donald’s we had to try it. It was disgusting but I am glad that we went there.
The girl serving us was completely shocked that we didn’t have waffle houses in Utah.

Alabama is truly different. Everyone is very nice but they are always in your business. It’s a little weird. I know that if we ended up moving there we would never have a dull moment.

A funny story of the many funny events while we were there is when we were checking into our hotel the lady working at the front desk grabbed my hand. (While this story takes place she is holding my hand the whole time, and she is a very big black lady that makes tuffer look small)

Front desk lady: let me see your hand, oh my gosh did he get you this.(looking at my wedding ring)
me: yeah
Front desk lady: how long you been married?
me: two years
Front desk lady: Is this your first ring?
me: yeah
Front desk lady: this aint an upgrade?
me: no
Front desk lady: well most girls get a little thing and then they get upgrade. I want to see your upgrade.
